Committees and Working Groups

Joint Health and Safety Committee

The Joint Health and Safety Committee is made up of worker and management representatives consulting in a cooperative spirit to identify and resolve health and safety issues. This is done in support of a planned occupational health and safety program in the place of employment.

Job Evaluation Process (JEP) Committee

The Job Evaluation Process (JEP) Committee is a joint committee made up of three ALGEU and three Management representatives who cooperatively evaluate defined jobs for placement in the Schedule 1 using the DWK Point Factor Job Evaluation Plan.

Labour Relations Committee (LRC)

The Labour Relations Committee is a joint committee made up of three ALGEU and three Management representatives to have open discussions on outstanding collective agreement and labour related issues.
